Deposits, Payments and Estimates
A 50% non-refundable deposit is due to retain one’s position on the tentative schedule. The remainder of the balance is due upon completion of the job prior to pick up or delivery of items. Estimates are provided as a general cost based on labor, fabric, and additional that may be required to complete the job. Estimates can fluctuate due to pattern matching, yardage, tufting, foam replacement, C.O.M., rush fees, or delivery. Prices are subject to change without notice although Vermilion Upholstery will try to keep each client updated on impending charges. By paying the deposit the customer is agreeing to all terms and conditions provided.
Material Selections
Customers that provide their own materials/fabric will be subject to a C.O.M. (customer’s own material) fee. Vermilion Upholstery recommends using our trusted fabric suppliers to ensure quality materials that are free of flaws and appropriate for the jobs specifications. Customers that choose to provide their own materials are responsible for inspecting their fabric for flaws prior to the start of the job.
Timeline
Vermilion Upholstery tries to work with each client on a realistic timeline. Vermilion Upholstery cannot guarantee an exact begin and finish date for each job. Upholstery scheduling and the completion of each job can fluctuate due to distribution of materials, labor intensive aspects, or acts of God. If a client is in need of a definite completion date please let Vermilion Upholstery know at the beginning of the estimate process.
Guarantee
Vermilion upholstery is not responsible for the care of the furniture or upholstered pieces once the pieces leave the shop. We will not cover stains, tears, or other damages once the pieces have left the shop. Any sewing defaults need to be brought to attention within the first month
